Who we are and what the service is
GradeExam is an AI-assisted answer-sheet grading service for schools, colleges, coaching centres and training institutes, operated by Muinin HQ LLP (gradeexam.com). These terms govern your institution's use of the service.
Eligibility
The service is for educational institutions. The person who creates an account must be authorised to act for the institution and to accept these terms on its behalf.
Accounts and permissions
The institution's admin controls who has access to the institution's account and what each person can do, through roles and permission sets. The institution is responsible for the actions of its users and for keeping its sign-in credentials secure.
Acceptable use
Do not upload content your institution has no right to process. Do not attempt to break, probe, reverse-engineer or overload the service, and do not use it for anything unlawful.
Credits and payment
Grading is paid for with credits: 1 credit = 1 answer sheet graded. Credits are consumed when a sheet is graded. Prices are shown at the time of purchase and payments are processed by Razorpay. New institutions receive a free trial allowance of graded sheets.
The nature of AI grading
GradeExam assists grading: it reads answer sheets, marks answers against your criteria, and shows its confidence and reasoning for every mark. A teacher reviews the results, and the teacher's mark is always final. The institution remains responsible for the marks it issues to students.
Availability
We aim for continuous service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Grading depends on third-party AI services, and maintenance or outages may occur.
Data
The institution owns its data. We process it only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to your institution is limited to the amount your institution paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access for non-payment or misuse. An institution may stop using the service at any time; unused credits remain in the account as described in the refund policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will give notice of material changes, and the current version is always on this page.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Hyderabad, Telangana, India have exclusive jurisdiction.
